Minimum Qualifications for Admissions:
A Candidate seeking admissions into first semester MCA Degree course should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline or an examination recongnised as equivalent thereto. Further, he/she should have qualified in the ICET conducted by the State Government in that year of seeking admission.

Admission Procedure:

2.1 For Convener seats:
Candidates shall be admitted into MCA course based on the rank secured in ICET conducted in that year of seeking admission and subject to various reservations as per the norms laid down by the University/State Government from time to time.

2.2 For NRI/Management Quota seats:
A candidate seeking admission in MCA course under NRI / Management Quota shall be a graduate in any discipline with not less than 50% marks or shall have passed the ICET conducted by the State Government.

Minimum Instruction Days::

3.1. The normal duration of MCA course is six semesters.

3.2. Semester I,II,III,IV and V shall consist of a minimum 90 instructions days (based on six instruction days per week) excluding the days allotted for tests, examinations and preparation holidays.

3.3. Sixth semester shall consist of a minimum of 15 weeks for undertaking project work either in the College or any of the recongised Educational Institutions, National Laboratories and Industrial Houses or any other organization approved by the Department.
